Overview
Cat #: BLP-BR043
Type: Synthetic peptide
Form: Lyophilized Powder
BMPR1A (extracellular) Blocking Peptide (#BLP-BR043) is the original antigen used for immunization during Anti-BMPR1A (extracellular) Antibody (#ABR-043) generation. The blocking peptide binds and ‘blocks’ Anti-BMPR1A (extracellular) primary antibody, this makes it a good negative reagent control to help confirm antibody specificity in western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. This control is also often called a pre-adsorption control.
Applications: wb, ihc
Application key:
WB- Western blot, IHC- Immunohistochemistry
For research purposes only. not for human use
Applications

A. BMPR1A immunoreactivity (green), appears in cells lined around glomeruli (G, down pointing arrows) and in cells of the mitral layer (up pointing arrows). B. Pre-incubation of the antibody with BMPR1A (extracellular) Blocking Peptide (BLP-BR043), suppressed staining. Cell nuclei are stained with DAPI (blue). G = glomerulus.
