Overview
Cat #: BLP-SC011
Type: Synthetic peptide
Form: Lyophilized powder
ENaC gamma/SCNN1G (extracellular) Blocking Peptide (#BLP-SC011) is the original antigen used for immunization during Anti-ENaC γ (SCNN1G) (extracellular) Antibody (#ASC-011) generation. The blocking peptide binds and ‘blocks’ Anti-ENaC gamma/SCNN1G (extracellular) primary antibody, this makes it a good negative reagent control to help confirm antibody specificity in western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. This control is also often called a pre-adsorption control.
Applications: wb, ihc
Application key:
WB- Western blot, IHC- Immunohistochemistry
For research purposes only. not for human use
Applications
Demonstration of Pre-adsorption control
- Western blot analysis of rat lung lysate:1. Anti-ENaC γ (SCNN1G) (extracellular) Antibody (#ASC-011), (1:200).
2. Anti-ENaC γ (SCNN1G) (extracellular) Antibody, preincubated with ENaC gamma/SCNN1G (extracellular) Blocking Peptide (#BLP-SC011). - Guinea pig inner ear sections (1:300) (Mori, Y. et al. (2009) J. Physiol. Sci. 59, 355.).
