Overview
Cat #: BLP-GR060
Type: Synthetic peptide
Form: Lyophilized Powder
GPR174 (extracellular) Blocking Peptide (#BLP-GR060) is the original antigen used for immunization during Anti-GPR174 (extracellular) Antibody (#AGR-060) generation. The blocking peptide binds and ‘blocks’ Anti-GPR174 (extracellular) primary antibody, this makes it a good negative reagent control to help confirm antibody specificity in western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. This control is also often called a pre-adsorption control.
Applications: wb, ihc
Application key:
WB- Western blot, IHC- Immunohistochemistry
For research purposes only. not for human use
Applications
Demonstration of Pre-adsorption control
- Western blot analysis of rat brain membranes (lanes 1 and 5), mouse brain lysate (lanes 2 and 6), rat spleen lysate (lanes 3 and 7) and mouse spleen membranes (lanes 4 and 8):1-4. Anti-GPR174 (extracellular) Antibody (#AGR-060), (1:400).
5-8. Anti-GPR174 (extracellular) Antibody, preincubated with GPR174 (extracellular) Blocking Peptide (#BLP-GR060). - Western blot analysis of human MOLT-4 T-cell leukemia cell line lysate (lanes 1 and 3) and human Jurkat T-cell leukemia cell line lysate (lanes 2 and 4):1, 2. Anti-GPR174 (extracellular) Antibody (#AGR-060), (1:400).
