Overview
Cat #: BLP-CR015
Type: Synthetic peptide
Form: Lyophilized powder
Human CXCR5 (extracellular) Blocking Peptide (#BLP-CR015) is the original antigen used for immunization during Anti-Human CXCR5 (extracellular) Antibody (#ACR-015) generation. The blocking peptide binds and ‘blocks’ Anti-Human CXCR5 (extracellular) primary antibody, this makes it a good negative reagent control to help confirm antibody specificity in western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. This control is also often called a pre-adsorption control.
Applications: wb, ihc
Application key:
WB- Western blot, IHC- Immunohistochemistry
For research purposes only. not for human use
Applications
Demonstration of Pre-adsorption control
- Western blot analysis of Burkitt's lymphoma (Raji) (lanes 1 and 4), human prostate carcinoma (LNCaP) (lanes 2 and 5) and human prostate carcinoma (PC-3) cell line lysates (lanes 3 and 6):1-3. Anti-Human CXCR5 (extracellular) Antibody (#ACR-015), (1:400).
4-6. Anti-Human CXCR5 (extracellular) Antibody, preincubated with Human CXCR5 (extracellular) Blocking Peptide (#BLP-CR015).
