Overview
Cat #: BLP-PC064
Type: Synthetic peptide
Form: Lyophilized powder
KCNN4/KCa3.1 Blocking Peptide (#BLP-PC064) is the original antigen used for immunization during Anti-KCNN4 (KCa3.1, SK4) Antibody (#APC-064) generation. The blocking peptide binds and ‘blocks’ Anti-KCNN4/KCa3.1 primary antibody, this makes it a good negative reagent control to help confirm antibody specificity in western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. This control is also often called a pre-adsorption control.
Applications: wb, ihc
Application key:
WB- Western blot, IHC- Immunohistochemistry
For research purposes only. not for human use
Applications
Demonstration of Pre-adsorption control
- Western blot analysis of KCa3.1-transfected HEK-293 (lanes 1 and 3) and Human K562 chronic myelogenous leukemia (lanes 2 and 4) cells:1,2. Anti-KCNN4 (KCa3.1, SK4) Antibody (#APC-064), (1:200).
3,4. Anti-KCNN4 (KCa3.1, SK4) Antibody, preincubated with KCNN4/KCa3.1 Blocking Peptide (#BLP-PC064). - Rat mesenteric artery parafin-embedded sections (Hilgers, R.H. et al. (2010) J. Pharmacol. Exp. Ther. 333, 210.).
