KISS1 Receptor/GPR54 (extracellular) Blocking Peptide (#BLP-KR001) is the original antigen used for immunization during Anti-KISS1 Receptor (GPR54) (extracellular) Antibody (#AKR-001) generation. The blocking peptide binds and ‘blocks’ Anti-KISS1 Receptor/GPR54 (extracellular) primary antibody, this makes it a good negative reagent control to help confirm antibody specificity in western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. This control is also often called a pre-adsorption control.

KISS1R (green) was expressed particularly in Purkinje cell bodies (arrows). B. Staining with mouse anti-parvalbumin (red) detected Purkinje cells and interneurons in the molecular layer. C. Merge of the two images demonstrates that the staining was restricted to Purkinje cells.
