Overview
Cat #: BLP-NT144
Type: Synthetic peptide
Form: Lyophilized powder
NIPAL4 (extracellular) Blocking Peptide (#BLP-NT144) is the original antigen used for immunization during Anti-NIPAL4 (extracellular) Antibody (#ANT-144) generation. The blocking peptide binds and ‘blocks’ Anti-NIPAL4 (extracellular) primary antibody, this makes it a good negative reagent control to help confirm antibody specificity in western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. This control is also often called a pre-adsorption control.
Applications: wb, ihc
Application key:
WB- Western blot, IHC- Immunohistochemistry
For research purposes only. not for human use
Applications
Demonstration of Pre-adsorption control
- Western blot analysis of human acute monocytic leukemia cell line THP-1 (lanes 1 and 2), mouse B cell lymphoma cell line WEHI-231 (lanes 3 and 4), rat brain membranes (lanes 5 and 7) and mouse brain membranes (lanes 6 and 8):1,3,5,7. Anti-NIPAL4 (extracellular) Antibody (#ANT-144), (1:400).
2,4,6,8. Anti-NIPAL4 (extracellular) Antibody, preincubated with NIPAL4 (extracellular) Blocking Peptide (#BLP-NT144).
