Prokineticin Receptor 1 (extracellular) Blocking Peptide (#BLP-PR041) is the original antigen used for immunization during Anti-Prokineticin Receptor 1 (extracellular) Antibody (#APR-041) generation. The blocking peptide binds and ‘blocks’ Anti-Prokineticin Receptor 1 (extracellular) primary antibody, this makes it a good negative reagent control to help confirm antibody specificity in western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. This control is also often called a pre-adsorption control.

2. Anti-Prokineticin Receptor 1 (extracellular) Antibody, preincubated with Prokineticin Receptor 1 (extracellular) Blocking Peptide (#BLP-PR041). - Western blot analysis of mouse brain lysate:1. Anti-Prokineticin Receptor 1 (extracellular) Antibody (#APR-041), (1:200).
2. Anti-Prokineticin Receptor 1 (extracellular) Antibody, preincubated with Prokineticin Receptor 1 (extracellular) Blocking Peptide (#BLP-PR041). - Expression of Prokineticin receptor 1 in rat DRGImmunohistochemical staining of frozen rat dorsal root ganglion (DRG) sections using Anti-Prokineticin Receptor 1 (extracellular) Antibody (#APR-041), (1:100), followed by Alexa-555-conjugated goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody. PK-R1 (red) is expressed in DRG neurons. Cell nuclei are visualized with Hoechst 33342 (blue).
