Overview
Cat #: BLP-PR054
Type: Synthetic peptide
Form: Lyophilized powder
PrRP Receptor/GPR10 Blocking Peptide (#BLP-PR054) is the original antigen used for immunization during Anti-PrRP Receptor (GPR10) Antibody (#APR-054) generation. The blocking peptide binds and ‘blocks’ Anti-PrRP Receptor/GPR10 primary antibody, this makes it a good negative reagent control to help confirm antibody specificity in western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. This control is also often called a pre-adsorption control.
Applications: wb, ihc
Application key:
WB- Western blot, IHC- Immunohistochemistry
For research purposes only. not for human use
Applications
Demonstration of Pre-adsorption control
- Western blot analysis of rat brain (lanes 1 and 5), mouse brain (lanes 2 and 6), rat cerebellum (lanes 3 and 7) and PC-12 cells (lines 4 and 8):1-4. Anti-PrRP Receptor (GPR10) Antibody (#APR-054), (1:1000).
5-8. Anti-PrRP Receptor (GPR10) Antibody, preincubated with PrRP Receptor/GPR10 Blocking Peptide (#BLP-PR054).
