Overview
Cat #: BLP-RR012
Type: Synthetic peptide
Form: Lyophilized powder
RXFP2 (extracellular) Blocking Peptide (#BLP-RR012) is the original antigen used for immunization during Anti-RXFP2 (extracellular) Antibody (#ARR-012) generation. The blocking peptide binds and ‘blocks’ Anti-RXFP2 (extracellular) primary antibody, this makes it a good negative reagent control to help confirm antibody specificity in western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. This control is also often called a pre-adsorption control.
Applications: wb, ihc
Application key:
WB- Western blot, IHC- Immunohistochemistry
For research purposes only. not for human use
Applications
Demonstration of Pre-adsorption control
- Western blot analysis of rat brain (lanes 1 and 5), rat testis (lanes 2 and 6), mouse brain (lanes 3 and 7) and mouse testis (lanes 4 and 8):1-4. Anti-RXFP2 (extracellular) Antibody (#ARR-012), (1:400).
5-8. Anti-RXFP2 (extracellular) Antibody, preincubated with RXFP2 (extracellular) Blocking Peptide (#BLP-RR012).
