Overview
Cat #: BLP-RR003
Type: Synthetic peptide
Form: Lyophilized powder
Ryanodine Receptor 3 Blocking Peptide (#BLP-RR003) is the original antigen used for immunization during Anti-Ryanodine Receptor 3 Antibody (#ARR-003) generation. The blocking peptide binds and ‘blocks’ Anti-Ryanodine Receptor 3 primary antibody, this makes it a good negative reagent control to help confirm antibody specificity in western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. This control is also often called a pre-adsorption control.
Applications: wb, ihc
Application key:
WB- Western blot, IHC- Immunohistochemistry
For research purposes only. not for human use
Applications
Demonstration of Pre-adsorption control
- Western blot analysis of rat brain membranes:1. Anti-Ryanodine Receptor 3 Antibody (#ARR-003), (1:200).
2. Anti-Ryanodine Receptor 3 Antibody, preincubated with Ryanodine Receptor 3 Blocking Peptide (#BLP-RR003). - Expression of RyR3 in rat cortexImmunohistochemical staining of rat brain frozen sections with Anti-Ryanodine Receptor 3 Antibody (#ARR-003), (red), (1:100). RyR3 is widely expressed in neurons of the cortex. Hoechst 33342 is used as the counterstain.
