Overview
Cat #: BLP-CC071
Type: Synthetic peptide
Form: Lyophilized powder
TPCN1 Blocking Peptide (#BLP-CC071) is the original antigen used for immunization during Anti-TPCN1 Antibody (#ACC-071) generation. The blocking peptide binds and ‘blocks’ Anti-TPCN1 primary antibody, this makes it a good negative reagent control to help confirm antibody specificity in western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. This control is also often called a pre-adsorption control.
Applications: wb, ihc
Application key:
WB- Western blot, IHC- Immunohistochemistry
For research purposes only. not for human use
Applications
Demonstration of Pre-adsorption control
- Western blot analysis of rat heart lysate (lanes 1 and 3) and liver membrane (lanes 2 and 4):1,2. Anti-TPCN1 Antibody (#ACC-071), (1:200).
3,4. Anti-TPCN1 Antibody, preincubated with TPCN1 Blocking Peptide (#BLP-CC071). - Expression of Two pore calcium channel protein 1 in rat lungImmunohistochemical staining of paraffin embedded rat lung sections using Anti-TPCN1 Antibody (#ACC-071), (1:100). TPCN1 is expressed in the respiratory epithelium of the bronchioli (black arrows), in the smooth muscle of both bronchioli (red arrows) and blood vessels (blue arrows). Hematoxilin is used as the counterstain.
